In 2019, Dharma’s Garden (www.dharmasgarden.com) hired Wool Hat Creative to create a fundraising video for them. They were in danger of losing their land in residential North Boulder, one of the last parcels and homesteads of its kind left in the city. Despite a worldwide pandemic, skyrocketing real estate values, and rampant development, they were able to rally over 600 families and raise over $4 million. Visit savethisfarm.org to see the full length version or the video, learn more, and get involved.
We are interested in making this into a feature film that follows the founders of Dharma’s Garden, Tim and Kerry, from the start through the saga of almost losing their land, to the present day, covering everything from regenerative agriculture, to climate solutions, to a feel good story of the power of a community truly connected to their land.
